Abbeylands Furniture Ltd kick off 40th year celebrations at the January Furniture Show

This year, Abbeylands Furniture Ltd are celebrating 40 years in business. Established in 1979 by Danny Fitzpatrick, Abbeylands Furniture started out as furniture manufacturers. When Danny’s daughter, Caroline Horgan took over from her father, the sector was in steep decline. Horgan had to look at the capabilities of the company to survive and 12 years ago it diversified into home interiors.

Today their brand Scatter Box, is Ireland’s leading designer furnishings brand supplying many renowned retailers throughout Ireland and the UK. They manufacture and supply luxurious cushions; hand made from exclusive European fabric mills and are known for their magnificent digitally printed cushions produced from their own original hand painted designs. Alongside this they stock a range of beautiful velvet upholstery furniture, original hand painted art, home accents, curtains, bedding and throws. Their design team travel the world sourcing materials to produce two collections a year. These collections comprise of the latest colours and designs to reflect the different moods and expressions of the current interiors and fashion trends. They pride themselves in supplying a high quality product at an affordable price.

Scatter Box first exhibited at the NEC in 2006 and this year they are very excited to exhibit at The January Furniture Show as it is their biggest ever stand. To kick off their 40^th anniversary they are inviting existing and potential new customers to join them on their stand (Hall 3 K10) to raise a glass of prosecco to toast their 40 years in business. You can also relax and enjoy a coffee, handmade chocolates and receive an exclusive free gift that showcases their own original hand painted designs.

If you don’t catch Scatter Box at the January Furniture Fair, you can also see them at Ambiente (Hall 9 C83), the Messe Frankfurt trade fair taking place from 8-12th February. 2019 will be their first time exhibiting at the fair. Horgan added “We are looking forward to expanding and establishing a presence in the European market”.
